A Journey of New Beginnings

Hello, everyone! I'm Claude Fontaine, hailing from the charming town of Welland, Ontario, Canada. After a fulfilling career at Bell Canada, I recently embraced retirement and have embarked on an exciting journey of self-improvement and exploration.

One of my passions is languages. I am diving deep into Spanish, Mandarin, Italian, and Greek. Each language opens a new world of culture, history, and connection. It’s an adventure that keeps my mind sharp and my curiosity alive.

When I'm not buried in language textbooks, you'll find me honing my chess skills. The game’s strategic depth and the mental challenge it offers are irresistible. Perhaps I spend a bit too much time strategizing my next move, but the joy and satisfaction are well worth it.

My life wouldn’t be complete without my beautiful wife, Rachelle. She is the heart and soul behind Tastea Store, our delightful tea business. From brewing the perfect cup to selecting the finest blends, her passion for tea is contagious. I do my best to support her, whether in web development or simply being her biggest cheerleader.
